My 2 cents: One of the main instigators of human-leopard conflict in Maharashtra is the 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐩 (𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 (𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞) policy. Such trappings by MahFD aren't always 'official' (not sanctioned by Chief Wildlife Warden).1/4.
